This experience will prepare you and your baby for their first visit to the pool.  Come and join us!

How beautiful for a newborn baby to be delighted by a warm nurturing bath in the hands of their loving carers. A wonderful opportunity to play with the senses, observe baby’s needs or preferences and to develop different ways to communicate. Slow thoughtful movements, soft lighting and quiet voices create an environment where a baby can feel safe, heard and connected. Everything we all need in life. Time almost stands still and the quality of touch and interaction encourages natural and easeful bonding.

Develop confidence in the practical skills of holding and nurturing your baby, particularly in water.

You will also learn:

• Mini massage and yoga moves
• A beautiful sequence you can enjoy together at home
• Insight into a baby’s development newborn to 4 months
• An understanding of cues, states of consciousness and reflexes
• Creating a bathing sequence with individual variations

An opportunity to understand your own little one in a friendly structured environment with a qualified and supportive teacher.

The session will be on dry land using baby baths (supplied). You will need to bring a change mat and everything you need for your baby including a bath towel
